Terms of service
Effective September 28, 2026
1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Björkén Media AB (org. nr 559486-2194, Gamla Kyrkogatan 4, SE-261 31 Landskrona, Sweden; “we”). They apply when you create a lyli account or use lyli. If you use lyli for a company, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you may do so. Our privacy policy explains what we keep about you, and our data processing agreement is part of these terms and covers the data you collect about your visitors.
2. Accounts and workspaces
- An account is for one person, who must be at least 18. Keep your email address current.
- Your websites, short links and pixels live in a workspace. A workspace’s admins manage its plan, settings and members; its members can see its reports. You’re responsible for who you invite and what they do in your workspace.
- You sign in with a code sent to your email address, or with Google. Keep access to them safe.
3. The free trial
- A workspace’s first 30 days are free, with everything on, and no card needed. Each person gets one trial; the workspaces they start later begin by choosing a plan.
- When a trial ends without a plan, the workspace’s dashboards pause. lyli keeps recording for 14 more days, so choosing a plan then loses nothing, and what was recorded is deleted 60 days after the trial ended.
4. Plans and prices
- A plan covers one workspace, with every feature, all its sites and as many teammates as you like. Its size is how much the workspace records in a calendar month (UTC): page views, custom events, short link clicks and pixel loads. Page speed measurements and loads by mail providers’ image proxies don’t count.
- Replays are included too. Each month, a plan includes one replay for every 100 page views and events it’s sized for (1,000 with the 100k plan), and a trial includes 1,000 in all. Past a plan’s, each replay costs €0.004 (or $0.004) before VAT. A workspace’s admins can set the most these may cost in a month; past it, replays pause until the month turns. They’re billed after the month ends, to the card the plan is paid with.
- Prices are shown in euros or US dollars before VAT, and paid monthly or yearly. A year costs the same as ten months. Larger or custom plans are by agreement.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A new price applies from your next renewal after the notice.
5. Paying
- Payments are made through Stripe, in advance for each month or year. A plan renews automatically at the end of each period until it’s canceled.
- VAT is added where it applies. Businesses in the EU outside Sweden that give a valid VAT ID pay no VAT; they account for it themselves (reverse charge).
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over about two weeks and the dashboards stay open meanwhile, for up to 30 days. If it still isn’t paid, the plan ends.
6. Changing your plan
A larger plan starts right away: you pay the difference for the rest of the current period, and it only takes effect once that payment goes through. A smaller plan, or switching between monthly and yearly, starts at your next renewal, so nothing you’ve paid for is lost. The price is always shown before anything changes.
7. Going over your plan
lyli never stops recording because a workspace outgrew its plan. If a workspace records more than its plan allows in the last complete month and again so far this month, we ask its admins to move to a larger plan. If it hasn’t within 7 days, its dashboards pause until it does or until a month fits the plan again.
8. Canceling
- You can cancel any time from Payment and invoices in your workspace’s settings. The plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you can undo the cancellation until then.
- We don’t refund the rest of a period, except as described below or where the law requires it.
- When a plan ends, the dashboards pause, lyli keeps recording for 14 days, and what the workspace recorded is deleted 60 days after the end. Its websites, links and pixels stay, so a new plan picks up where it left off. You can download your reports as CSV files while the dashboards are open.
9. Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK
lyli is made for businesses. If you buy a plan as a consumer, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days by emailing hey@lyli.io, and we refund what you paid for it. This doesn’t limit any other right consumer law gives you.
10. Your data and your visitors
- What your websites, links and pixels record is yours. We process it only to provide lyli to you, as our data processing agreement sets out.
- You’re responsible for measuring your visitors lawfully: having a legal basis, telling them in your privacy notice, and asking for consent where your law requires it. lyli is cookieless by default; recognizing returning visitors stores an id in their browser and usually needs consent in the EU and UK.
- Replays record what visitors see and do on your pages. lyli’s recorder waits for their consent unless you set it not to, and many countries require that consent. lyli always hides what’s typed into fields; you hide anything else on your pages that shouldn’t be recorded (with
data-lyli-hide, or Pages never recorded). - Don’t send personal data in page addresses, event names, event properties or campaign tags, and don’t use lyli to record sensitive information such as health, religion or politics.
11. Acceptable use
Don’t use lyli to:
- break the law or anyone’s rights;
- send people to phishing, malware, scams or illegal content through short links;
- put pixels in unsolicited email;
- get around lyli’s limits or security, overload it, or access other workspaces’ data;
- resell lyli without our agreement.
We may disable a short link or pixel, or suspend a workspace or account, that breaks these terms. We tell you first where we can.
12. Shared views
You decide which reports to share and with whom. Anyone with a share link, and its password if it has one, can see what it shares until you revoke it.
13. Availability and changes
We work to keep lyli running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We improve lyli over time and may change or retire features. If we remove something central to a paid plan during its period, we refund the unused part of that period.
14. Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for a claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. These limits don’t apply to harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or where the law doesn’t allow them.
15. Ending the agreement
You can stop using lyli any time: cancel your plan, delete your workspace’s websites, links and pixels and the workspace, and delete your account in Account settings. We may end the agreement or suspend access for a serious breach of these terms or unpaid fees. What a workspace recorded is then deleted as described in section 8.
16. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell account holders by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don’t accept it, you can cancel before then; using lyli afterwards means you accept the new terms.
17. Law and disputes
Swedish law applies, and disputes are settled by the courts of Sweden. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the laws where you live, and in Sweden you can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (arn.se).
